Sadly, Kelligar's death came tragically and unexpectedly. She was the light of our lives and even in death her light shines so bright. Her legacy will continue as long as we are here to keep her memories alive! She was quoted as saying, "every day you are alive is a great day!" Therefore, we are committed as a family to continuing to promote organ and tissue donation on her behalf. Because someone was gracious enough to give her the gift of life 11 years ago, we were graced with her wondrous spirit for 11 fabulous years. We send endless gratitude, love, and prayers for the baby and family that chose to give Kelli life. She will missed but never forgotten! |

Some words and comments shared with us to describe Kelli: She was compassionate, loving, and forgiving She packed more living, loving, and giving in her 11 short years than any other person - ever! She cared about making a difference You were beautiful here on earth and I can only imagine how beautiful you are surrounded by God's light! I don't know how we got so lucky to be part of your family, be we are thankful we were You will be terribly missed but never forgotten You were a perfect living example of how we all should be Living Loving Creative Spirit Her face and her story motivated many to be organ donors She had the absolute ability to make everyone feel special, unique, and at ease She never took a free ride in her own life She was a tremendous leader She defied all odds! |
